Among The Fires
It has been quite awhile since I or my wife Amanda has posted...and it was not because we did not want to - believe me!
I am sure most of you have heard that we are right in the middle of the devastating wildfires here in Southern California. We are all OK. Including Baby Cecilia. We did not need to evacuate.
It has been an interesting experience being a teacher at a school right in Ventura where the most damage was done from the flames. School came to a screeching halt Tuesday afternoon at 2:36 pm for the remainder of the semester after having already missed 5 days. I would ask that you pray for my students, their families, the staff and faculty of Saint Bonaventure High School as we adjust and begin to move forward. Please know that Saint Bonaventure High School is still standing and is in good condition! Below are some pictures to give you a better idea of the surrounding area...
